This site is a portfolio for Siméon Artamonov, fine artist. I keep things simple and respect your privacy.

What's collected

Only information you provide directly is collected:

• Contact form: Your name, email address, and message when you enquire about works or get in touch.
• Newsletter: Your first name and email address when you subscribe to occasional studio updates.
• Card requests: Your name, email, and postal address when you request a complimentary printed card.

Why it's collected

• Contact form: To respond to your enquiry about artworks, commissions, studio visits, or press requests.
• Newsletter: To send occasional updates on new work, exhibitions, and studio news. You can unsubscribe anytime.
• Card requests: To mail you the physical card. You'll also be added to the newsletter (you can unsubscribe anytime).

Where it's stored

• Contact form submissions: Sent directly to studio@simeonartamonov.com via my email provider. Not stored in a database.
• Newsletter subscribers: Managed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a US-based email platform. See their privacy policy.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. No cookies are used, no personal data is collected, and your IP address is anonymized. All data is aggregated and privacy-friendly.

Third-party services

• Plausible Analytics: Privacy-friendly website analytics (no cookies, no personal data)
• Kit (ConvertKit): Newsletter management
• Cloudflare: Site hosting and performance (minimal logging)
• Instagram embeds: If you visit my Instagram profile via links on this site, Instagram's privacy policy applies

How to unsubscribe

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it to opt out immediately. No questions asked. This applies whether you subscribed directly or were added when requesting a complimentary card.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of any data held about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Update or correct your information

Email studio@simeonartamonov.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line.

Data retention

• Contact form: I keep your message in my email archive until you request deletion, or until it's no longer relevant (typically 2-3 years).
• Newsletter: I keep your subscription active until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, Kit retains your email for legal/operational reasons (spam prevention) per their policy.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 16. Data from children is not knowingly collected.

Changes to this policy

I may update this page occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top shows when changes were made.
