I took part in the Spring Open Studio at hARTslane on 16 May 2026, where I presented Breakfast Time.
The session brought together artist members to share one work each and speak about it directly with other artists. The format was simple and useful: short one-to-one feedback rounds, moving from person to person over two hours.
I found it valuable to hear how different people looked at the painting. Some comments confirmed things I was already thinking about, while others opened up new ways of seeing the work. It was a good reminder that a painting changes slightly depending on who is standing in front of it.
